Owego, N.Y. - Historic Owego Marketplace (HOM) presents the Farm to Fork: Evening Market and Supper Series every Thursday this summer from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Downtown Owego.

Farm to Fork brings local farmers to sell meat, cheese, produce and other farm products to consumers and to featured local restaurants. The restaurants then use the local products and their culinary creativity to cook meals available for sale outdoors.

Tupper Lake, N.Y. - This month millions of commuters are getting a taste of Tupper Lake and the Adirondacks, courtesy of a brand new ad now running on subways, buses and signs in and around New York City. Albany, N.Y. - In celebration of the American Hiking Society's 22nd annual National Trails Day®, Parks & Trails New York is urging everyone to spend some time on one of the state's more than 16,000 miles of trail on Saturday, June 7. New Yorkers can select from 45 different events. Tupper Lake, N.Y. - The Adirondack Farm to School Initiative announces its 2nd annual Farm to School Festival, to be held at the Lake Placid High School & Olympic Oval on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 4-7 pm. From 4 pm - 6 pm the event will feature area farmers, organizations, dinner with fresh local ingredients, live music from Big Slyde, student environmental groups from the Tri-Lakes, educational booths and activities. The event concludes with a special presentation by Mark and Kristin Kimball from Essex Farm from 6-7 pm in the Lake Placid High School Auditorium.
