Staatsburg, N.Y. (09/02/25) — Experience the scenic landscape encompassing Staatsburgh State Historic Site through the focused lens of drawing on Saturday, September 20 at 11am. Professional artist and educator Mira Fink will guide participants as they take a short walk around the grounds of Mills Memorial State Park, taking in the beauty of the English landscape garden design and Hudson River. Instruction in creating thumbnail sketches using view finders to explore composition and the effects of light and shadow will be given.

Seneca Falls and Auburn, N.Y. - Women’s Rights National Historical Park and Harriet Tubman National Historical Park will host “Equality Week,” the parks’ first joint public event, from August 26 to August 31, 2025. Coinciding with Women’s Equality Day on August 26, Equality Week will feature guest speakers, living history programs, family-friendly activities, and special exhibits – all centered around the theme of equality and the ongoing fight for equal rights. Special programs will be offered during regular park operating hours at both locations.
