Staatsburg, N.Y.  (09/02/25) — Experience the scenic landscape encompassing Staatsburgh State Historic Site through the focused lens of drawing on Saturday, September 20 at 11am. Professional artist and educator Mira Fink will guide participants as they take a short walk around the grounds of Mills Memorial State Park, taking in the beauty of the English landscape garden design and Hudson River. Instruction in creating thumbnail sketches using view finders to explore composition and the effects of light and shadow will be given.

Seneca Falls Homeschool DaySeneca Falls, N.Y. - Seneca Falls will play host to a special homeschool field trip day on October 1, 2025. Women’s Rights National Historical Park, the Seneca Falls Historical Society, and the National Women’s Hall of Fame are collaborating on a series of educational programs geared toward homeschool students.  

The program, designed for ages 8-12, will feature tours of each site, and interactive activities with site staff.
