Stony Brook, NY- The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame (LIMEHOF) has announced it will be extending the run of the first ever exhibit dedicated exclusively to LIMEHOF Inductee and Legendary Long Island Musician Billy Joel. The exhibit opened last November and is currently running at LIMEHOF’s Stony Brook Village location (97 Main Street, Stony Brook, NY). It was initially planned to run through September 2024.

Model A Ford & Stearman BiplaneFarmingdale, NY (August 4, 2024) -- Don’t miss American Airpower Museum’s (AAM) outdoor extravaganza on Saturday, August 10, 2024, as we showcase a dozen or more examples of Henry Ford's most popular automobiles, built from 1928 through 1931.  Come and see a diverse collection of Model A Fords, alongside vintage biplanes of the same era.  Vintage aircraft from the Bayport Aerodrome will also be on display to compliment the Model A Fords.  Nearly five million Model A Fords were sold during their four years of production.

Governor Kathy Hochul today announced the winners of the 38th Annual New York Wine Classic, a nationally recognized competition highlighting the best of New York's wine industry. Weis Vineyards, located in the Finger Lakes region, took home the two top awards in the 2024 Competition. They were honored as Winery of the Year, and their 2018 Riesling Ice Wine was awarded the prestigious Governor’s Cup. The winner was announced this evening during a special live virtual event hosted by the New York Wine & Grape Foundation.
