Cooperstown, NY – Hyde Hall and Glimmerglass State Park open for the 2022 season on Saturday, May 28th with a new community celebration, the Hyde Hall and Glimmerglass State Park Block Party. The event marks the start of our area’s summer season and offers opportunities for the whole family from 10 AM - 3 PM. Twenty local organizations will participate with activities, animals, crafts, free programs, nature walks, and music around Hyde Hall’s campus and around Glimmerglass State Park.

Lewiston, NY – Country star Brantley Gilbert will perform at the Artpark Amphitheater on Thursday August 18, 2022 at 7PM. Tickets will go on sale Friday, April 15 at 10AM. Special guest to be announced.

Long Lake, N.Y. -- Long Lake’s final Music by the Lake concert will be held on Friday, August 13th on the Long Lake Town Beach from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. featuring the Buffalo based act Miller & The Other Sinners. In the event of rain the show will be at the Mt. Sabattis Pavilion. This event is free.

Miller and The Other Sinners is a nationally touring Southern Soul band from Buffalo, NY, bringing a blend of gut bucket delta grit, Memphis soul, gospel spirit and funky rhythm and blues.  Since August of 2015, they have performed over 700 shows across 21 states and Canada from house parties to festivals. …

Bath, NY — On Sunday, August 8th, Mossy Bank Park will host the 2^nd annual The Hills on Fire Enduro XC which is a new kind of mountain bike race. The course is located in a young Hemlock stand with easy access for spectators and family and friends to watch. The course will be about 7-8 miles in length with a good mix of single and double track. There will be a 6 hour window to complete 4 laps of the course (solo riders will need to complete all four laps, while riders for two-person teams will need to do two laps each). The event is a fundraiser for the park. A Chicken BBQ will also be available as an additional fundraiser for the park. Award-winning Steuben Brewing Company will be on hand for craft beer tasting as well.

Riverhead, NY – The Downtown Riverhead Business Improvement District [BID] brought back its largest event,  Alive on 25 [AO25] Thursday, July 15 2021 with the highest turnout in its history; nearly 20,000 people enjoyed the festival, car show and fireworks. For three remaining dates, Alive on 25 will introduce a ‘Kids Zone’ plus Outdoor Family Movie Nights and Reflextions: Art in the Park neon light exhibit inside Grangebel Park.

Steuben County, NY – Sunday, July 18th marked National Ice Cream Day. Don’t worry if you didn’t get a chance to celebrate, you still have time to make the most of the exciting and delicious new Steuben Ice Cream Trail featuring the top 10 local favorite ice cream shops in Steuben County.

Katonah, NY -- John Jay Homestead State Historic Site will host a nature walk on Friday, August 6^th at 10:30.

Join guest educator Peter Cutul for this guided walk through the grounds of John Jay Homestead.  During the walk you will search for signs of natural life including plants, animals and their tracks, and discuss the ecological history of the site.  This relaxed walk is designed for families and will last approximately one hour.

Riverhead, NY (June, 2020) - The Downtown Riverhead Business Improvement District [BID] announces the revival of its largest event,  Alive on 25 [AO25], returning for four Thursday nights in July and August, 2021. It’s the biggest and most anticipated event in Riverhead!

The series kicks off July 1st with fireworks scheduled for 9:15pm. Three events will follow on July 15, 19, and August 12, 2021 (rain date August 19). All events run from 5-9:30pm along Peconic Avenue and Main Street, between Griffing Avenue (west) and Union Avenue (east).
