The year is filled with special events to mark the 400th anniversary of Dutch Explorer Henry Hudson’s discovery in 1609 of what is now New York’s Capital City. “Hudson 400 -- A Celebration of Discovery” has been named the #1 event in North America by the American Bus Association. “Hudson 400 is a wonderful opportunity to explore the Dutch heritage of Albany and the Capital Region,” said Michele Vennard, president and CEO of the Albany County Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Albany has been planning for quite some time to guarantee it will be an unforgettable celebration,” she said.
