Lunch hour on the PlazaALBANY, N.Y. -- This June, Albany is Walking with Dinosaurs, welcoming the Miss New York State Pageant, enjoying outdoor concerts, and celebrating the rich history and recreational fun provided by the Hudson River. After 65 million years, the dinosaurs come to life in Walking with Dinosaurs at the Times Union Center. The 15 life-sized dinosaurs, including Tyrannosaurus Rex, promise a stunning theatrical event. With the backdrop of the historic Hudson River, Albany presents its ever-popular Alive at Five music series every Thursday in Riverfront Park.  On Father's Day, the 7th annual Pops Concert will feature The Albany Symphony Orchestra and The Broadway Boys along the Hudson's shore. As the Capital City continues the 400th anniversary of its discovery by Henry Hudson in 1609, river activities include the 6th Annual Canalway Trail Day, National Learn to Row Day and a welcoming of the ships and blessing of the fleet that includes the replica of Henry Hudson's Half Moon.
