The Warren County Bikeway is 12 paved miles of rolling hills that will take you from Lake George Village to Glens Falls - and back again. If you want to extend your ride, off-road bikes will love the surface of the Feeder Canal Towpath Trail from Glens Falls to neighboring Washington County. This trail system was just designated part of the National Recreation Trail System!             If you prefer hiking or nature trails - you can choose from varying degrees of difficulty. From logging trails and old tote roads, to forest and wetland trails; from craggy summits to spectacular mountaintop views, the Lake George Area in New York's Adirondacks is a backpacking paradise.             Yearning for some peaceful time on the water? Strap a canoe or kayak to your roof racks and head to a public launch on the many lakes and rivers in the area. Paddle through swampy wetlands, around the perimeter of a small lake, or along a stretch of the Hudson River. Take in the sights and sounds of the peaceful surroundings, keeping an ever vigilant eye out for loons, peregrine falcons and other water fowl.             When was the last time you went fishing?
