The Young Naturalists enjoy the outdoors every day.Cornwall, NY -- Do you know a Young Naturalist? A Young Naturalist is a child who is inspired by interacting with nature in a hands-on exciting way while learning letters, numbers, colors and shapes through exploring, experimenting and discovering the world around them! This unique approach to learning is taught by a caring and professional staff who are trained in early childhood development and outdoor education. Due to the expansion of the Young Naturalist Pre-K Program at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum, there are still openings available in the four-year old afternoon class. Students can either attend this class, five days a week, Monday - Friday The Young Naturalists learn about animals and how to protect the environment.afternoons or three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. The class will meet in the Museum's new classroom located in the Farmhouse at the Outdoor Discovery Center, entrance on Muser Drive, across from 174 Angola Road, Cornwall.
