strong.jpg (Rochester) - Join the Strong National Museum of Play for a musical performance by Eastman School of Music students on April 3 at 6:00 p.m. and a Saturday Night Family Play Date, The Berenstain Bears Celebration on April 4 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Eastman School of Music Family Performance Start the weekend off on the right note and join Eastman School of Music students at Strong National Museum of Play for a family-friendly performance Friday, April 3 at 6:00 p.m. (The museum is open until 8:00 p.m. every Friday evening, so there is ample time to visit museum exhibits and have a meal before or after the concert.) Listen to the unique sounds of three Eastman musical groups showcasing their distinct talents. Groove to the sounds of a brass quintet; relax to a trio of flute, viola, and harp; and enjoy the songs of a vocal group. The Eastman School of Music family performance is included with general museum admission fees. Saturday Night Family Play Date: Berenstain Bears Celebration Come in party attire or pajamas and spend time in the exhibit The Berenstain Bears: Down a Sunny Dirt Road! at Strong National Museum of Play on Saturday, April 4 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Meet one of the Berenstain Bears "in person." Museum hosts read Berenstain Bear stories at 5:30, 6:30, and 7:30 p.m. Make a party hat, play party games, and dance to music throughout the event. Saturday Night Family Play Dates are an evening series for families presented the first Saturday of each month March through June. All of the exhibits are open late every Saturday until 8:00 p.m. and the Food Court is open until 7:00 p.m. Mark your calendars for other upcoming Saturday Night Family Play Dates: Butterfly Bonanza on May 2 and Summer Splash on June 6. All activities are included with general museum admission fees.
