strong.jpg"Get Ready for The Nutcracker" Nov. 11 Eastman School Performances at Strong National Museum of Play® Nov. 13 & Dec. 4 Rochester, NY - Enjoy a preview of a magical family favorite with "Get Ready for The Nutcracker" at Strong National Museum of Play on Tuesday, November 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The day of storytelling, dance, and live music features performers from the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and Rochester City Ballet and is presented in conjunction with six upcoming performances of The Nutcracker, Tchaikovsky's beloved ballet, brought to life by the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and the Rochester City Ballet at the Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre, Friday through Sunday, November 27 to 29. "Get Ready for The Nutcracker" at Strong is included with general museum admission fees.

Join Eastman School of Music students for "What Is Chamber Music?" at Strong National Museum of Play on Friday, November 13 at 6 p.m. (The museum is open until 8 p.m. every Friday evening, so there is ample time to visit museum exhibits before or after the concert.) See how music ensembles work as a team with string ensembles from the Chamber Music program at the Eastman School of Music. And mark your calendar for "What Is Brass Sound? From Ore to Art," a second evening performance by Eastman School of Music students at Strong National Museum of Play on Friday, December 4 at 6 pm. All Eastman School performances are included with general museum admission fees.
