winter_bristol_logo.jpgCanandaigua, NY - The Bristol Mountain Snowmaking Team was out in full force on Friday and Saturday.  Crews began making snow on Upper and Lower Rocket, Sunbelt, Eclipse, Halley's Run, Infinity, Launching Pad, Shooting Star, Upper and Lower Meteor and the Big Dipper. The local forecast, with temperatures in the mid to low 20's, looks promising for snow making to continue throughout the weekend.  Skiers and Snowboarders can view the snowmaking progress by going to the Bristol Mountain website at www.bristolmountain.com and clicking on the Rocket Cam for streaming live video. The Guest Services office was very busy on Saturday with guests anxious to pick up their season passes, in hopes of getting out on the mountain in the very near future.  Karen Dadali, Guest Services Supervisor, stated that, "Guest Services is open from 12pm-4pm on weekends until the mountain is open for the season.  We are happy to assist guests with processing their season passes, so they don't have to wait in line during the opening week". Opening Day will be announced on the Bristol Mountain website (www.bristolmountain.com) and on the Bristol Mountain/LeBrun Toyota Information and Snow Phone at 585-374-1100.
