Auburn, N.Y. - The 2010 Official Visitor's Guide to Cayuga County is now available at the Cayuga County Office of Tourism, 131 Genesee Street, Auburn.  This comprehensive guide offers year round information for visitors on things to do, places to stay, and annual events in Cayuga County. Principal photography in the guide was done by Kristian S. Reynolds, a professional photographer working from Cortland and known for his coverage of the Finger Lakes Region of New York State.  His work includes two coffee-table books, "Finger Lakes Panoramas" and "Wine Tour of the Finger Lakes."   The guide was designed by Laura Coburn, Principal and Owner of the Auburn based Coburn Design, specializing in print and web design. The Guide focuses on what visitors like most about Cayuga County - lakes, scenery, wineries and charming villages as well as activities such as dining and shopping.  Looking for a list of golf courses?  Day spas?  Hiking trails?  You'll find information on all of these plus much, much more it the 2010 Official Visitors Guide to Cayuga County. The guide also includes suggested itineraries such as the "Team of Rivals Tour" which takes you to the Seward House Museum and other sites made popular through Doris Kearns Goodwin's best-selling book. Unique shopping and dining experiences such as Curious Moon Gallery & Café and Elderberry Pond Restaurant are also featured, plus information on wineries, wine trails and wine tours. Traditional meeting and event facilities as well as alternative meeting space such as Auburn Public Theater are also featured in the guide, with the hope that visitors might think of Cayuga County when they plan their next business meeting or even a family reunion.   From the historic Springside Inn to the versatile Holiday Inn to the cozy ‘Red Suspender Room' at Curley's, Cayuga County has meeting and event space to suit every gathering.  A sampling of annual events is listed in the guide with visitors being directed to the tourism web site, http://www.tourcayuga.com/ for more event information. From Bass Pro Shops' Annual Ice Fishing Derby in February to the Bon Ton Roulet bicycle tour in July to Christmas in Aurora in December, Cayuga County visitors can find something to do whatever the season.
