ticonderoga-area-cofc.JPGTiconderoga, N.Y. - The Cultural Arts Initiative of the Ticonderoga Area has announced the schedule for MArts Madness, a period from March 2 to 17 with a wide variety of visual, performing, and literary activities. Almost every arts organization in Ticonderoga will participate in brightening up the winter months and celebrating the arts energy that goes on year around in the Ticonderoga area. MArts Madness Schedule of Events March 2 at 1 PM: Reception at The Black Watch Memorial Library for the opening of The Quilt Show, co-sponsored by The Ticonderoga Heritage Museum, which will run through March 17. March 2 at 7 PM: Ticonderoga High School Sentinel Productions presents Fairy Tale: The Ever After by Kevin Stone at the Ticonderoga High School Auditorium. March 2 from 6 to 10 PM: Reception and Art Show at The Downtown Gallery and the new Studio 117 featuring music, food, and professional and student art.The Art Show will continue through March 17. March 2 - 17: Professional art show at the new Studio 117 on Montcalm Street, organized by Tavish Costello with his art and works of other artists. *Note the show will not be available for viewing on the dates the gallery and studio are closed. March 3 at 3 PM: Towne Meeting Band at the Best Western, sponsored by The Ticonderoga Festival Guild. March 10 at 3 PM: The Downtown Gallery - Production of Love Letters by A.R.Gurney with Kathy Recchia and Vincent Smith. March 12 at 5:30 PM: The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce Office. Presentation on the Way Space Affects our Behavior and Productivity by VMS Design. March 14 at 4 PM: The Black Watch Library - Lecture on The Cheever Mines by Jim Davis. March 16: Fort Ticonderoga 1750's Provincial Coat Workshop. March 16 at 6:00 PM: Irishmen Dinner and Roast at the Knights of Columbus in Ticonderoga. March 17: Fort Fever Series!
