arts-westchester-boutique.jpgOne-of-a-kind gifts on two consecutive weekends - December 7-8 and 14-15 White Plains, N.Y. - To ring in the holiday season, ArtsWestchester will host its 4th Annual Holiday Boutique this December. Far from ordinary, two things distinguish this boutique from others in the county; in addition to offering one-of-a-kind, hand-made items that can't be found anywhere else, shopping at the boutique allows visitors to support local artists and crafters who work in Westchester. Over 25 artists and crafters will offer unique items at every price level including knitwear, hats, jewelry, glass, paintings and photography, in addition to artisanal lotions and soaps. A workshop led by Evelyn Eidelberg is also scheduled, giving creative shoppers a chance to design and create accessories they can give as gifts, or keep for themselves. Beverages and tasty snacks from Hastings Tea will be available for purchase, making this pop-up boutique the perfect destination for a unique holiday shopping experience. The boutique will take place on two consecutive weekends - December 7-8 and December 14-15. Admission to the boutique is free to the public. "Shopping at our Holiday Boutique allows residents to give twice," says Janet Langsam, CEO of ArtsWestchester. "Once to the person receiving a hand-crafted, special gift and, again, to the many artists who enrich our communities with the beauty and quality of their work." There are still tables available for artists and crafters who create children's clothing and toys; accessories for the home; and handbags, totes, cosmetic bags, etc. Artists interested in exhibiting should contact Lea Banks at LBanks@artswestchester.org .
