Howlin' at the Moon Concert SeriesSchenectady, N.Y. - The Schenectady County Historical Society proudly presents its seventh season of the Howlin' at the Moon concert series at Mabee Farm Historic Site. The 2015 season will be the most exciting and ambitious Howlin' year yet, with 12 scheduled events. Each month on the full moon, Mabee Farm will host an evening of live music, featuring regional folk and bluegrass artists.

Summer concerts take place in Mabee Farm's historic 1760s Dutch barn.

Winter concerts are held in the Franchere Center at Mabee Farm. Each concert begins at 7:00 PM with a singer/songwriter opener, then moves on to the evening's main act. Admission is $5.00, and refreshments are available for purchase.

Sunday February 1st, 7:00 PM: Running the River with Tophenjamin
Running the River features a blend of classic country, rock, folk, Irish, blues, and fiddle tunes. Opening act is brotherly duo Tophenjamin, mixing the sounds of bluegrass, R&B, jazz, and rock.

Friday March 6th, 7:00 PM: Shadowland
A night of great Irish and Celtic music celebrating the Irish in Schenectady. Shadowland features a lively mixture of originals and much-loved favorites served up in a truly unique manner. Bluesy, Rootsy, Folky, Celticy...something for everyone! Terrific harmonies, killer guitar licks, and pounding rhythms combine with powerful lyrics to make Shadowland one of the Northeast's most popular bands.

Thursday April 2nd, 7:00 PM: Dyer Switch with Mark Poupolopolus
Dyer Switch's hard-driving traditional, original and unique bluegrass and acoustic music is dynamic, captivating, and performed with mesmeric charm.

Sunday May 3rd, 7:00 PM: Three-Quarter North with Mark Baptiste
TQN's home-grown blend of bluegrass and folk is easy on the ears and stimulating to the heart.

Tuesday June 2nd, 7:00 PM: 13 Feet of Bluegrass with 2Late
13 Feet of Bluegrass returns to Howlin' for high-energy bluegrass, 70s and 80s country rock, blues, originals and a spectrum from the Allman Brothers to Flatt and Scruggs.
