Newburgh, NY (March 18, 2020) -- The 2020 Newburgh Volunteer Fair at Washington’s Headquarters State Historic Site has been postponed.  This event, organized by the site in partnership with Safe Harbors of the Hudson, will be rescheduled later this year.

The Volunteer Fair provides not-for-profit organizations with an opportunity to share awareness about the special services they provide to our community. In the course of the day, the public can explore all the positive and important work being done to strengthen the community of Newburgh.  Participating organizations will hopefully recruit interested and eager volunteers to further assist in those needed community endeavors. It is also an opportunity to network with other organizations. With its mix of promotion, recruitment, and networking, participation is definitely a win-win situation.

We plan to reschedule this event later in 2020.  For further information regarding how organizations can take part, please call 845-562-1195 or email elyse.goldberg@parks.ny.gov, and keep watch for further announcements.
