If so, the Mighty High Mountain Festival at Tuxedo Ridge next weekend (May 18th-20th) is for you! With 3 days of nationally touring bands, including Dark Star Orchestra, The Machine, John Popper, Railroad Earth, and many more; the Mighty High Mountain Festival, sponsored by Tuxedo Ridge Ski Center and Create-A-Vibe promotions has music for fans of all genres and all ages. With over 20 bands on 2 stages, there's over 8 hours of music daily, all outside reverberating off the beautiful mountains of Tuxedo, NY. The festival features many other aspects besides music too, with plenty of food, art, and apparel vendors, a kid's tent (including face-painting and games), yoga classes, and much more. The pub and kitchen at Tuxedo Ridge will also be open, offering plenty of drink and lunch specials throughout the festival. Guests are also encouraged to camp on-site and enjoy the scenery of Sterling Forest. This is the 3rd year of the Mighty High  Mountain Festival at Tuxedo Ridge and the expected turnout is in the thousands. Past performers at the festival have included From Good Homes, New Riders Of The Purple Sage, The Felice Brothers, and New Paltz reggae sensations The Big Takeover. Rob Cannillo, resident singer-songwriter and events coordinator of Tuxedo Ridge, whom has also performed on the festival, is pleased to welcome back 3 days of music, camping, and entertainment to the Hudson Valley. Tickets for the festival are $40 for Friday, $50 for Saturday, $40 for Sunday, or $100 for a 3-day pass with camping. Tuxedo Ridge; fresh off the Tri-State Motorcycle Club's annual Hare Scrambles event, is located just 35 miles from the George Washington Bridge and 5 minutes from the Woodbury Commons Shopping Center. The center is nestled in 25,000 acres of Sterling Forest. They are known as one of the area's most popular ski centers, but also host many events such as concerts, extreme obstacle courses, and motorcycle events throughout the year.
