Glans Falls, N.Y. — The Queensbury Hotel will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening reception for the recently completed Adirondack Ballroom expansion project on Thursday, July 21. The Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce and Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a joint ribbon cutting ceremony beginning at 4:30pm. The ribbon cutting will be followed by a reception hosted by The Queensbury Hotel in the Adirondack Ballroom & Warren Room from 5-7pm.

Tours of the property and newly renovated spaces will be available.

BACKGROUND:                 The historic Queensbury Hotel in downtown Glens Falls has just undergone a $3.8-million renovation and expansion over the last 10 months.  The 5,200-square-foot expansion project includes a complete renovation and enlargement of the Adirondack Room, an update of the Warren Room and the addition of a brand-new banquet kitchen. Since 2016, The Queensbury has undergone multiple renovation and restoration projects that have included updating the 123 guest rooms, hotel lobby and front desk, two restaurants and many public spaces throughout the hotel.
