Albany, N.Y. -- The Albany Trolleys begin their sixth season of historic on/off tours of New York's Capital City from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 4. Tours take place on all the Saturdays in June and daily from July 2 through Labor Day, Sept. 5. The Albany Trolleys offer conductor-narrated, on-off tours of Albany - stopping at 18 locations -- starting and ending at the Albany Heritage Area Visitors Center at Quackenbush Square. Each ticket is an all day ticket to ride, with guests having the option of getting off and re-boarding at any time during the day at any of the Trolley stops on the route. Once the Trolley departs the Visitors Center, it stops at 18 location, including: Ten Broeck Mansion, , Albany Institute of History and Art, , New Scotland Avenue entrance to Washington Park, New York State Museum, U.S.S. Slater and Riverfront Park at Corning Preserve before returning to the Visitors Center. Trolley tour tickets may be purchased from the conductor at any Trolley stop on the route. Rates for the one day, on/off historic tour are: Adults, $15; Seniors, $12; Children ages four-12, $8. Children under four are free when seated on an adult's lap. Each of the three trolleys in the fleet can accommodate up to 26 passengers. The Trolleys are available for charters and special tours throughout the year, including tours of Albany's ethic histories and the Port of Albany. The Trolleys also offer packages with entertainment venues and restaurants, as well as educational tours for scouts and school groups.
