New Safari-Style Adventure Now Open to Public
Harpursville, NY – August 2, 2022 – Broome County’s newest adventure has begun! Animal Adventure Park has opened The Preserve, an interactive, educational drive thru adventure, hosted on over 100 acres in beautiful upstate New York.
Sister facility to accredited zoological facility Animal Adventure Park, facility owner Jordan Patch has opened the gates to his once-private preserve to share a new adventure with guests! Home to hundreds of animals, embark on a self-driven safari through grassland, scrub brush, and deep forests as you explore and experience geographically designated paddocks: Aussie Eurasia, The Americas, Africa & Giants of Africa. The Preserve was a $2 million project which took approximately one year to develop.
“We are so excited for our guests to experience this new animal adventure in a unique, open environment,” Jordan Patch, owner of The Preserve, said. “This “free choice” space lets our animals choose whether to interact with vehicles. You are their guest, joining them in their environment!”
Our interactive experience will allow guests to offer our fortified diets to the animal residents that call the preserve home. We guarantee no two visits are ever the same! Have your camera ready for breathtaking views and amazing animal encounters!
The Preserve carries on the mission of parent organization, Animal Adventure Park, to create up-close and hands-on interactions between humans and animals. Engagement of our guests yields opportunity for education: responsible captive management, propagation, and conservation of species, preservation of spaces. The Preserve is open daily 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. with last admissions at 3:30 p.m.
The Preserve officially opened to the public on Friday, Aug. 5. Reservations are required and can be made online.
