Cornwall, N.Y. - Children ages 2-5 and their grandparents/parents/caregivers can explore the world of animals and nature together in this unique program. Especially designed to introduce a different animal each week, this unique program holds the attention of young children by utilizing crafts, songs, movement, stories, hands-on activities and outdoor exploration . Fascinating for both children and adults, it helps to build an understanding and respect for the animals and plants in our natural community. It is also a great way to prepare young children for preschool!
Starting Tuesday, June 26, Wednesday, June 27 and Friday, June 29, the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum begins this 8-Week Summer program at the Museum's Wildlife Education Center, 25 Boulevard, Cornwall-on-Hudson. Choose either Tuesdays, beginning June 26 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. for ages 2-3 or 11 a.m. -12 p.m. for ages 3-5, Wednesdays, beginning June 27 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. for ages 2-3 or 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. for ages 3-5 or Fridays from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. for ages 3-5. Pre-paid registration is required for this popular program. 8 week-session admission per adult/child pair: $140, Museum members: $115. 10% discount for additional sibling.
