His unique show is extremely versatile and has been featured with celebrities like Carlos Santana; utilized by Fortune 500 companies like AT&T; raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for various charities; and used as a platform to motivate students and employees of various organizations. Farnham Unplugged: Rock The Arts, a music and art benefit will be held Friday, November 6th at 6:00 pm at the American Foundry in Oswego. Pre-sale tickets are $25 per person, and $35 per person at the door. "We're extremely excited about the second annual Farnham Unplugged: Rock The Arts event, as well as Garibaldi's appearance and performance," said Jeanne M. Unger, MS, Executive Director of the Oswego-based non-profit, chemical dependence outpatient substance abuse clinic, with prevention and school-based student assistance counseling services. "Garibaldi is an artist who paints with passion and purpose, who overcame obstacles to get where he is today, and we believe that coincides perfectly with Farnham's mission and philosophies." "Farnham's objective is to offer people a fresh start; a new beginning...Garibaldi was able to turn the direction of his life around, and that's why we believe he couldn't be a better fit for the Farnham Unplugged Event," Unger added. According to Garibaldi, walking away from a life of graffiti in the streets was one of the hardest decisions he ever had to make. It wasn't until a high school teacher challenged him to make his art more purposeful, that the decision was made. He shares his personal struggles and triumphs through his wildly splashed paintings in his inspirational art performances. Garibaldi paints live at urban jazz sessions, nightclubs, and hip hop events for direct influence by the music. Some of the pop icons he is famous for painting include Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, and Bob Marley, to name a few.
