Lewiston, NY – Canadian pop-indie band based out of Toronto, Canada, Alvvays will perform with special guest Alex G in the Artpark Mainstage Theater on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 7:00PM. Alvvays (pronounced "always") made their Late Night TV debut on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Show. Alvvays is currently on tour across the great white North and then touring Europe for a few months before touring back here in North America during the Summer.
Alex G is an indie-rock musician, singer-songwriter from Havertown, Pennsylvania.
The Philadelphia Inquirer praised him as "a particularly gifted melody writer" whose "fuzzy, sometimes distorted songs, which hark back to slightly askew 1990s bands such as Pavement, can't hide his skill as a pop craftsman and a constructor of elliptical narratives that call for repeated listening."
