Owego, N.Y. - On May 24th and 25th the Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance will present The Susquehanna River Big Splash Sustainability Fair at the Tioga County Fairgrounds (Marvin Park) in Owego, New York.
Please join us for two days of music, green business exhibitions, local foods, and workshops. There will be a presentation from Southern Tier Solar Works about their new Broome/Tioga County solar initiative.
The music line up is bigger and better than ever this year! We are excited to announce that Driftwood, Tara Nevins and Buffalo Zydeco (Donna the Buffalo Zydeco Set), One Fly Down (featuring members of the Horse Flies), Thousands of One, Big Mean Sound Machine, The Falconers, Jeb and Friends, The Band of Strings, Milkweed, Alpha Brass Band, Hank Roberts, The Woodshed Prophets, Tumbleweed Highway, The Zydeco Po' Boys, InnerMission, Pete Ruttle, and Many More will be joining us this Memorial Day Weekend.
The Sustainability Fair will feature renewable energy vendors, home efficiency companies, local farmers, not for profit groups, environmental advocacy groups, and local artisans. We are still accepting applications for vendors, exhibitors, volunteers, and sponsors. Tickets: Tickets are available at Las Chica's Taqueria in Owego, and at the Cyber Café in Binghamton.
Weekend pass: $20 in advance, $25 at the gate. Day Pass: $10 in advance, $15 at the gate. Kids 12 and under are FREE!
Camping: Onsite camping will be available. Tents, RVs, and Campers are all welcome. The cost is $20 per
Tent, RV, or Camper for the weekend.
