proctors-theatre.JPGSchenectady, NY - International megastars Celtic Thunder are revved up to storm the Mainstage at Proctors arts and entertainment complex on Tuesday, Sept. 18 with Voyage, a brand new show that explores the diversity of traditional and contemporary Celtic music-that broad group of musical genres that evolved out of the folk musical traditions of the Celtic people of Western Europe. The ensemble performances in this thrilling evening highlight the diversity of Irish music and song, from the powerful rendition of Dulaman to the love song Maid of Culmore. The solo performances are equally wonderful and showcase the musical talent of each member. Voyage depicts the journey of musical development that each soloist has undertaken since the beginning of Celtic Thunder four years ago. Voyage is also the first Celtic Thunder show where we see the vocalists pick up various instruments. Recently hailed as Billboard's Top World Music Artist, Celtic Thunder continues to pay homage to the musical culture and traditions of Ireland. See for Yourself Tickets Available Now!
