In addition to shopping, several dining and entertainment venues will be open late in the evening on Thanksgiving Day so that visitors can enjoy the facility as they prepare for the most important shopping weekend of the year. Several thousand shoppers gathered last year as select stores opened at 12:00am with exclusive deals and savings for those who ventured out in the "wee hours the morning" after Thanksgiving. The added mix of entertainment, dining and premium outlets is sure to make this year's Black Friday an event to remember. "With the new premium outlets joining the mix and the added value of entertainment and dining venues all under one roof, we are preparing for our biggest day yet," Robert Schoeneck, General Manager of Destiny USA, stated. "We've been overwhelmed by the response and anticipation from both merchants and consumers to open at midnight. We expect visitors from much of New York State, northern Pennsylvania, and Canada." This will be the first year the facility's expansion will host premium outlets and stores, as well as restaurants and entertainment venues, open for Black Friday.
