LEGOLAND® New York Resort, 1 LEGOLAND Boulevard, Goshen: The Northeast’s newest major theme park opens for its second season on April 8, featuring seven uniquely themed worlds, filled with attractions for the whole family. This major amusement destination includes a variety of dining options and a 250-room hotel.

Orange County Arboretum, 15 Grove Street, Montgomery; The 35-acre arboretum is a can’t-miss attraction in the spring. Stroll its magnificent gardens and wooded areas on pathways with plenty of benches to stop and enjoy the tranquility. Admission is free year-round.

Brotherhood Winery, 100 Brotherhood Plaza Drive, Washingtonville: Spring is a fantastic time to visit the oldest winery in the country, which has been pleasing palates since 1839. While there, tour the largest underground wine cellars in the country.

Warwick Drive-In, 5 Warwick Turnpike, Warwick: Pile in the car or take your special someone and enjoy movies the way they did in the days of sock hops and soda shops (but with modern digital projection, for a truer movie-going experience). It opens for the season March 25.

Wandering Winds Hot Air Balloon Adventures, Randall Airport, Middletown: One-hour sunset and sunrise flights include a special champagne picnic. Flights begin in May.

Storm King Adventure Tours, 4 Duncan Ave., Cornwall: Starting in May, kayak the Hudson River for the spectacular scenery around the picturesque village of Cornwall. Paddle out for sunset, full-moon and sunrise tours, or try the overnight campfire tour, among others.
