Secret Stockade: A Historic Tour and Lunch

Discover the Stockade and its secrets on the first Wednesday of each month with a walking tour, lunch at historic Arthur's Market, a peek inside a 1820s home, and a visit to the Schenectady History Museum. Schenectady Suds: A Historic Beer Tour through the Stockade

Take a walk along what was once known as "Brewer's Street," looking at local history through the lens of a beer glass. This walking tour of the Stockade Historic District will examine the history of brewing and its impact on Schenectady, from the Colonial era to today's craft brew revival. The tour conveniently ends at a local establishment, the perfect place to treat yourself to a pint! Pre-registration is required.

Candlelight Tours
Fridays, 10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, and 10/30 at 7:00 PM
Explore the historic Stockade after dark and discover the neighborhood's haunting past. Join us after the tour for hot cider, treats, and a visit to the Schenectady History Museum. Our popular Candlelight Tours (presented in partnership with the Schenectady Heritage Foundation) will return every Friday evening in October. Pre-registration is required.
