goremountainskiresort.jpgSki Bowl Work & Trail Improvements Progress While Summer Operations Expand North Creek, N.Y. - June 17 is the last day to secure the best prices for 2010/2011 adult season passes!  Passholders should look for several improvements in progress for the upcoming winter.  Two new glades include "Barkeater," a massive run on Burnt Ridge Mountain that connects the top of the high-speed quad with the Pipeline Bridge, and a new glade off "Wild Air" that gives skiers and riders a wooded alternative to Gore's largest terrain park.  Bank turns, rollers, and heaps of snow to play on will add fun for all guests in a new skier/boardercross course on "Lower Sleighride." Exciting progress continues towards Gore Mountain's Interconnect with the Historic North Creek Ski Bowl.  The bridge on the "Eagle's Nest" trail will soon be completed, and excavators are at work seven days a week building a work road on the Hudson Chair lift line.  Several value-added opportunities are available to passholders.  The ever-popular Friends Program is a way for passholders to get their pass for a discount, or even free.  "Northwoods Extras" offer a variety of 10% discounts at Gore Region shops, restaurants, and attractions daily during the winter season.  Adult full season purchasers can take advantage of the Playaway Plan and break their pass purchase into three convenient payments.  As of July 17, Gore will be open every Saturday and Sunday through October 10 for its longest and best off-season ever!  Several new biking trails have been added, there are three mountain biking camps to choose from, the retail shop is open, and new menu items are available for lunch at the barbeque.  Guests should mark their calendar for Harvest Fest October 9-10, which celebrates Columbus Day Weekend with live entertainment, outstanding Adirondack vendors, 5K trail run, kids activities, and much more.
