Northi Creek, N.Y. - Harvest Fest returns to Gore Mountain Saturday and Sunday, October 11-12. This massive festival is open 10:30am-4:30pm each day and includes live music, kids' activities, vendors, and fall fun for whole family. Admission is completely free!
Harvest Fest 2014 will feature the largest array of Adirondack vendors yet, including jewelers, photographers, artists, furniture makers, specialty foods, and much more.
Enjoy live entertainment 12pm-4pm each day, with Raisinhead on Saturday and Council Fire on Sunday. Plan to take in the beauty of peak Adirondack foliage on a scenic Northwoods Gondola Skyride or helicopter excursion.
There is plenty to do for children of all ages, such as pony rides, autumn craft activities, magic shows, rides, a climbing wall, bungee trampoline, disc golf, and miniature golf. Visit Bounce Around Entertainment's huge inflatable village, including giant slides, obstacle courses, and bounce houses. Word of Life presents a petting zoo with Mr. Pickles the pot-bellied pig, goats, sheep, and even rats! On Saturday at 1pm, kids can participate in a make your own walking stick workshop, and then use it on a guided hike that follows. On Sunday at 1pm there will be a Halloween egg hunt and costumes are encouraged.
