Joe Davoli 2023Osceola, N.Y. – Joe Davoli, the 2017 NYS Inductee to the N. American Fiddlers Hall of Fame, will bring his Hot Club de Syracuse to the site at 1121 Comins Road in Osceola NY on Sunday, August 20th at 2:00 pm.

Joe Davoli, a graduate of DePaul University, also attended the Berklee School of Music. Joe has composed and recorded music for off-Broadway plays/musicals. He has won two Syracuse Area Music Awards -SAMMY’s. He has served as musical supervisor for several short films. Joe has published a successful method book for fiddle and mandolin that is currently in its second edition. His CD’s “Fiddle & Guitar”, “Game Plan” and most recently “Golden Rule” have all received international acclaim. Joe is a full-time member of Ceili Rain. In demand as a studio musician, he lives in Camillus, NY with his wife, Darbie.

Joe is a passionate fiddle instructor, teaching close to 40 students a week at his studio in Syracuse. His influence has been recently acknowledged by young performers at the Hall of Fame. Joe is a consummate performer of several styles of music including Celtic, bluegrass, jazz, rock and classical fiddle.

Joe’s performance on the 20th will feature his jazz group, Hot Club de Syracuse, playing from 2:00-3:00 pm and again from 4:00-5:00 pm.  Joe will lead the Open Jam from 3:00-4:00 pm, when musicians in the audience are invited to join him on the Pavilion stage.

Admission is FREE, with adequate seating available in the Pavilion, which can be enclosed in case of inclement weather, and includes a brick patio with picnic tables and an adjoining children’s play area.  The Hall of Fame and Museum is free, and open during all public events.  (Look for Joe’s portrait in the Hall of Fame.)  Pre-packaged snacks are available from the Fiddler’s Kitchen.

The site is handicap accessible, and is smoke-free, drug-free, and pet-free. Parking on the left side of the shared driveway is Free.

Chad Miller, the 2016 NYS Inductee to the Fiddlers Hall of Fame, will be the Featured Performer at the Sunday, August 27th concert.
