Cleveland, N.Y. - Mark your calendars for the Cleveland Historical Society's annual fundraiser! The group hosts a dinner and silent auction on Saturday, Jan. 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the American Legion on state Route 49 in Cleveland. "This is a great opportunity for people to come out and enjoy a good meal and a visit with friends while supporting the historical society," said Kathy Darrow, president of the Cleveland Historical Society. "Guests can use this chance to become members by paying their 2010 dues." The experienced cooks in the Cleveland Historical Society will prepare the dinner to include angel hair spaghetti, meatballs and sausage, tossed salad, Italian bread, homemade desserts and beverages. The silent auction will take place throughout the meal and features many quality items for bid. Dinner prices are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors aged 55 and over and $5 for children aged 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the door and take-out meals will be available. For information about the Cleveland Historical Society, call 315-675-8688.
