Ticonderoga, NY – The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) in coordination with area businesses and organizations will host the annual Holiday Shopping & Dining Night on Friday, December 1st, 2017 as part of the 8th Annual Ticonderoga Area North Country Christmas Celebration. Shopping and Dining Night is an opportunity to take advantage of great specials and promotions, support Ticonderoga Area Businesses, visit the Holiday Farmers Market, listen to live music, and get into the holiday spirit. New this year will be the Parade of Lights as part of this event which is being coordinated by the Ticonderoga Fire Department.
Participating businesses will be open until 8:00 PM and will have a Shopping & Dining Night Snowflake displayed. They will also be listed in the Holiday Shopping & Dining Guide created by the Chamber. Free raffles will be held throughout Downtown Ticonderoga sponsored by the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership.
Live Christmas music and carols will also be part of the event including from the NCCC Victorian Strolling Choir, Girl Scouts, and Ti’Coustics. Additional music may be announced. Visit the TACC facebook page for details.
For the second year the Ticonderoga Area Farmers’ Market will have a Holiday Farmers Market on Friday, December 1st from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Chamber Office in Downtown Ticonderoga. A number of farmers and vendors will be set up inside the Chamber offering a variety of local products.
New this year will be the Parade of Lights throughout the Ticonderoga Business Districts & surrounding areas from 6:00 - 7:30 PM. Community members and visitors are encouraged to come out and enjoy the parade of lights along with holiday music. Businesses, organizations, and community members are encouraged to participate (vehicles, floats, etc.). You must register with the Ticonderoga Fire Department. The parade will start at the Ti Fire Dept., go down Montcalm St. up the Portage, over Alexandria Ave., down Champlain Ave., across Father Joques, up Lake George Ave., across Alexandria Ave., down Lord Howe St. up Wicker St. down Burgoyne Ave., back up Montcalm St., around Liberty Monument, and then return to the Fire Department.

The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce is also a Tiny Tim Program and Local Food Pantry Drop off location until Friday, December 8, 2017. All donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
