howlogo.jpgHowes Cave, N.Y.  -- Find the perfect gift on Thanksgiving Weekend at the Howe Caverns Crafts Fair on Friday, Nov. 26, and Saturday, Nov. 27, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. The event will take place throughout the Caverns' Visitor Center on the Howe Caverns Estate. Admission is free and the public is invited. The Crafts Fair features a variety of vendors offering unique, hand-crafted items including jewelry, soaps, fiber crafts, quilts Maple products and more. "We're still accepting vendors," said Howe Caverns General Manager Robert Holt. "The fee is $40 for the two days and all the fees will be donated to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign."  There is an additional $5 fee for vendors requiring electricity. Interested vendors should contact Holly at the Caverns by calling 518-296-8900. There also will be a bake sale during the Crafts Fair to benefit Toys for Tots. In the Howe Caverns Café, sandwiches and soup will be available The Sweet Shop Is brimming with special treats including homemade fudge and truffles.  The Gift Shop has a wealth of merchandise for gift giving. And, the great cave will be open to the public for Traditional Cavern Tours (regular prices apply). In addition to the Thanksgiving weekend activities, Howe Caverns will continue to collect Toys for Tots through Dec. 16. New, unwrapped toys may be dropped off at the Visitors Center. Cash donations also are being collected at the Caverns. ### Howe Caverns is New York State's second most-visited natural attraction, located about 45 minutes southwest of Albany, off Exit 22 of I-88.
