Project S.E.A.K  - Summer Environmental Adventure Kids! Summer environmental adventure for all children ages 4- 12 taking place every week, plus one week for ages 12-15 Cornwall - The Hudson Highlands Nature Museum is ready to greet summer campers!  The Museum's new summer camp "Project S.E.A.K."  (Summer Environmental Adventure Kids), for children from age four through fifteen, takes place from June 29 until August 21. The beautiful setting, small group size, and experienced Hudson Highlands Nature Museum staff create a winning combination!  Space is limited - please register early to avoid disappointment! "We are very excited about this year's Summer Camp," says Executive Director, Jackie Grant. "Our experienced staff members bring great strengths to the program and love sharing nature and the outdoors with children." "Also, there is a 10% discount offered for Museum members who sign up by April 1st." New elements this year include an Eco-Rangers Week for ages 12-15 that will include an overnight camping experience; optional early drop-off and late pick-up; and a full-day camp option for ages 5 and 6. Plus, each week includes a day trip for all groups: hiking adventures, Hudson River day and visits to other local educational sites. The Ramblers Program is for children aged four to six.  This program meets in week long sessions at the Museum's Outdoor Discovery Center, entrance on Muser Drive across from 174 Angola Road, Cornwall.  Half-day sessions are offered for children ages 4-5 mornings (8:45am -11:15am) or afternoon (12pm-2:45pm.) A full-day program (8:45am-2:45pm) has been added for children ages 5 and 6. Campers will enjoy nature adventures, hikes, crafts, games, music and fun. Every week will include a day at the Wildlife Education Center to meet live animals and another day of woodland hiking at a local destination, weather permitting. Parents provide transportation for off-site locations. Cost (may vary depending on week): Half-day: $125, Museum members: $110. Full-day: $250, Museum members: $220. Project S.E.A.K  - Summer Environmental Adventure Kids!The Trekkers and Blazers Programs is for children aged seven to twelve. Campers enjoy weeklong, adventure packed programs filled with fun and exploration. This camp takes place at the Museum's Outdoor Discovery Center, entrance on Muser Drive, across from 174 Angola Road, Cornwall. One day each week is spent exploring the Hudson River at Kowawese Unique Area in New Windsor and another day on an exciting field trip or a spectacular hike. Campers meet for a six hour day (9am-3pm) each week and bring their own lunch, bottled water and snack. Transportation by chartered bus for field trips only (extra fee included.) Parents provide transportation to local off-site destinations. Cost (may vary depending on week): $270. Members: $240. The Eco-Rangers Program is for children ages 12-15. Eco-Rangers will challenge themselves with a special week of wilderness adventuring and learning outdoor survival skills from August 17-21. It includes one overnight stay sleeping under the stars with a hammock to keep! This camp takes place at the Museum's Outdoor Discovery Center, entrance on Muser Drive, across from 174 Angola Road, Cornwall. Cost: $275. Members: $245.
