A portion of revenue from the Snowtubing park will be donated to the charity, operated by the American Cancer Society. The American Cancer Society Relay for Life is a regional event that gives the opportunity for all in the Mountain Top community to celebrate the lives of people that have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and to contribute funds and support to research of the disease. The Relay for Life Mountain Top event will be held on June 17-18, 2011 at Dolan's Lake; Hunter's Snowtubing proceeds will be donated to help support the Mountain Top and the event taking place in June. The event will take place from 5-7pm at Hunter Mountain in its Snowtubing park, set adjacent to its base lodge. A discounted snowtubing ticket price will be offered at $15 per person; $10 of that ticket price will be donated to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life for the Mountain Top. "We're elated to give back to the community and to the American Cancer Society in such a way," says Sarah Slutzky, Resort Services Manager at Hunter Mountain and a granddaughter of one of Hunter's founders, Orville Slutzky. "Many of our friends and employees are involved with this charity, and we see this event as an opportunity for Hunter to support the community and its workforce while offering a fun activity for our patrons." Tickets can be purchased at the Snowtubing park; the event will take place from 5-7pm on March 13, 2011. Hunter's Snowtubing park, a popular activity throughout the winter for kids and adults alike, offers 9 chutes and 2 tows. The park generally operates through the season on weekends and holiday periods, with a closing date in late March. For further information on Snowtubing, .
