Museum Celebrates 50th Anniversary Glens Falls, N.Y. - The Hyde Collection celebrates its 50th anniversary at their upcoming annual gala. Taking place at The Inn at Erlowest, Lake George, New York, join honorary gala chairs Candace and Charles Wait, Hyde director Charles Guerin, museum staff, members and friends on Saturday, April 13, 2013 for a special evening. At 6pm, this annual fundraiser begins with a cocktail reception and over sixty-five silent auction items on which to bid. Then at 7pm, auctioneer Martin Seelye will keep the bids flying in a live auction featuring special items such as an autographed boxing glove by Muhammad Ali, a Lilly Pulitzer Bike, Telescope Furniture patio set, and a hand-made carpet. A three course meal of your choice (grilled filet mignon in a red wine jus and Atlantic salmon with a citrus fennel crust, or a spinach and cheese ravioli) will be served by The Inn at Erlowest's Chef Ken Lingle with wine provided by Adirondack Wine Merchants. Dancing to the music of "Standing Room Only" will be from 9pm-10:30pm. Black tie is optional and valet parking will be available. Sponsors for the Hyde's Annual Gala include D.A.
