"Orange County's long history of beautiful apple orchards make it a prime spot for the exciting craft cider culture that has taken off in recent years," said Orange County Tourism Director Susan Hawvermale. "We're excited to welcome Angry Orchard to the Orange County craft cider scene, and now visitors can taste this delicious beverage at five different cideries around the county."

Angry Orchard: Located on Albany Post Road in Walden, recently made a 60-acre Orange County orchard its new home. Opening Day is Friday, November 6 when they'll begin welcoming the public to their Innovation Cider House. Visitors can take a self-guided tour to learn a bit about the history of cider and the cider-making process, see what their cider makers are pressing and fermenting, and taste some specialty Angry Orchard ciders made on-site. www.angryorchard.com
Warwick Valley Winery, home of Doc's Draft Hard Cider: Located on Little York Road in Warwick, provides visitors a unique environment to explore many offerings of ciders, wines, brandies and liqueurs. Renovated from an old apple packing house and overlooking a pond and the orchards, its post and beam Tasting Room is perfect for enjoying some great cider, food, and live music by their wood burning stoves, www.wvwinery.com
Applewood Winery, home of Naked Flock Cider: Located on Four Corners Road in Warwick, offers visitors to their tasting room varieties of Naked Flock Cider, Original, Draft and Pumpkin. Naked Flock Ciders are made from Fresh Hudson Valley Apples. Orchard Hill Cider Mill: located on Soons Circle in New Hampton, features a farm cider mill using its own apples with a tasting room offering a selection of ciders, wines, beer, and spirits from around New York State. Brotherhood Winery: located on Brotherhood Plaza Drive in Washingtonville, offers tours of their vast network of 19th Century underground cellars which house more than 200 oak barrels.
