Oswego, N.Y. - Ahoy Maties! The H. Lee White Museum and Maritime Center is swabbing the decks for a hearty afternoon of pirate carousing. Brush off your eye patch, grab your parrot & sign up for a Kids' Pirate Party on Thursday, July 11 or Wednesday, July 24 (10 am - noon). Fun will abound in Oswego's "Historic Maritime District." Young lads & lasses can consort with fellow pirates; land lubbers can throw in with the lot & become pirates for a day. Pirate garb is strongly encouraged. Games, activities, music, grub, a scavenger hunt and treasure to plunder for home are on the list of pirating fun for the day. Tickets must be purchased in advance. The cost is only $12.00 per child (ask about member discounts). Contact the Museum at 315-342-0480 or email@example.com for more information or to RSVP. Also check hleewhitemarinemuseum.com or facebook.com/hlwmm for details on this and all the other great programming scheduled for 2013! Be there or walk the plank!
