Local wines, ciders and spirits highlighted in multiple June events
Wayne County, N.Y. - The Lake Ontario Wine Trail is kicking off summer with desserts, animals and artisans - and of course, wine, cider and spirits. During the first three weekends of June, the Lake Ontario Wine Trail will offer alternative events to the typical wine tasting experience, while highlighting local libations, shops and vendors.
"We're very excited about our June lineup," said Collin McConville, Trail President and Head Distiller at Apple Country Spirits. "These events allow us to show off the great wine, cider and spirits that come from this region, in some new and unique ways."
- Sweet Retreat: June 3 - 4, 2017 | 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Travel the trail to enjoy the ultimate indulgence - a sweet treat served with delicious wines, ciders and spirits. Visit each of the 10 participating members at your leisure for a unique pairing, such as alcohol-infused brownies or cinnamon apple Riesling cupcakes. Old Goat Cidery, Lake Ontario Wine Trail's newest cidery, will be making its first public appearance at this event.
Tickets are only $15, and are available for purchase online as well as at the first stop on the tour.
- Wine Trail Gives Back: June 10 - 11, 2017 | 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
