Schenectady, N.Y. - Beat the winter blues with the holiday version of The Rat Pack-Live At The Sands, specially created to heat things up for the coolest kind of holiday cheer. This spectacular show celebrates the incredible talent of three of the world's most famous entertainers, singing some of the finest music ever recorded. Christmas With The Rat Pack-Live At The Sands is at Proctors 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20; 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22. Drift back to a glamorous era with Frank, Sammy and Dean, a live 12-piece big band and the fabulous Burelli Sisters. Enjoy the songs they made famous, like "Fly Me To The Moon," "The Lady Is A Tramp," "Mr. Bojangles" and "That's Amore," along with seasonal favorites like "Merry Little Christmas," "Baby, It's Cold Outside,"  "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer," "Jingle Bells," "Silent Night," "Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!" "White Christmas" and "Winter Wonderland." Tam Ward, a veteran of Matthew Bourne's productions of Cinderella and Swan Lake, plays Frank Sinatra. Ward is also a vocal soloist with the Paul Flush Jazz Ensemble and was singer with the house band at The Dresden Room in Los Angeles.  Jason Pennycooke, an accomplished choreographer as well as a lauded actor, has not only appeared as Sammy Davis Jr. in the Olivier Award-nominated West End production of The Rat Pack-Live from Las Vegas, but he also played Davis in the 2008 Harmony Korine film, Mister Lonely. Nigel Casey is a songwriter who loves to interpret the work of others. He brings a special flair to his portrayal of Dean Martin, anchored by years of fronting touring swing bands. Frank, Sammy and Dean-all-singing, all-dancing, all-around entertainers. They led the life that everyone wanted. Legends of the 20th Century, idols of the music industry, superstars of the movies, they are to this day renowned worldwide for their talented voices. They were pioneer entertainers of Las Vegas. Triumphant in their success, their love was performing live at their favorite venue, The Sands. Frank, Sammy and Dean made The Sands famous due to countless personal appearances, scheduled and spontaneous. Each visit was peppered with zany banter, practical jokes and genuine love and respect.
