Tom HuntKatonah, NY (July 11, 2023) – Learn what it took to survive in early America with a hands-on historic presentation at John Jay Homestead!

Join us on Saturday, August 5th, as we take a step back through time with historical reenactor Tom Hunt! Specializing in early American craftsmanship, Tom will be demonstrating 18th century broom making and discussing other handicrafts from 10am to 12pm. Feel free to bring your questions!

This family-friendly event will be held alongside the Homestead’s weekly Farm Market and is a great opportunity for all ages to learn more about early American history. The Homestead will be featuring Living History presenters on the first Saturday of every month through October.
