Knapp, designer of the Great Lakes Seaway Trail Lighthouse patterns, has won awards at the American Quilters Society Show in Paducah, KY; the Vermont Quilt Festival, Quilts=Art+Quilts at the Schweinfurth Art Center in Auburn, NY; at the Old Forge Arts Center; the Nashua, NH, Quilters Gathering; and the Chicago International Quilt Association show.
- ? Sunday, March 20 at 1pm - "So You Would Like to Design Quilt Fabric" with fabric designer Nancy Murty of Bee Creative Studio, Palmyra, NY. Murty creates fabric lines for Andover Fabrics of New York City. Her latest design series is titled BlackBird Acres. Her fabric, pattern and book themes include new baby and building blocks, Tea Time, the Christmas holiday, and an animal alphabet series in cotton and flannel. Nancy's work has been featured in Quilting Now, Quilt It for Christmas, Quilt It for Kids and Designers' Quarters.
