Lake George Winter’s Dream and Winter Realms Invite Visitors to Step into the Magic of the Season in Lake George, New York
Lake George, N.Y. – The Southern Adirondacks are aglow with two brand new attractions welcoming visitors for the holidays and throughout winter in Lake George. While Lake George Winter’s Dream and Winter Realms are located next door to each other, they both offer very different experiences.
Lake George Winter’s Dream draws on the rich emotions, sensations, and magic of the winter season in a series of multimedia installations that create an immersive, dreamlike experience. Located in the courtyard and on the bastions of the Fort William Henry Historic Fortress, Lake George Winter’s Dream uses original music, lights and multimedia as visitors are immersed in six installations: First Snow, Winter Woods, Frozen Lake, Full Moons, Dreamscapes and Cabin of Dreams.
Winter Realms, a separate attraction located next door at Festival Commons at Charles R. Wood Park enchants visitors with ice skating on a weather-resistant rink, dazzling lights, mesmerizing motifs, an ice sculpture park, igloos, Santa’s Candy Cane Court, and a variety of other winter attractions.
Both attractions are open on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. Both are closed on Christmas Day.
Lake George Winter’s Dream is created by the renowned Montreal studio Moment Factory. Drawing on the rich emotions, sensations, and magic of the winter season, a series of multimedia installations welcomes visitors into winter’s warmth. As evening falls, lights, sounds, original music, projections, and interactivity invites audiences of every age to engage and play, to gather, and to share moments of joy.
Developed with Moment Factory's signature multimedia touch, this experience embodies the studio's mission to bring visitors together.
Both attractions will remain open through March. Tickets for Lake George Winter’s Dream can be purchased online at LakeGeorgeWintersDream.com. Each ticket to Lake George Winter’s Dream comes with a discount savings passport that unlocks special deals and pricing at attractions, lodging, restaurants, and retailers.
