The evening's festivities include free craft activities, a scavenger hunt, and culminates with a Caroline-themed meal in the American Girl Cafe. In addition, 1812 re-enactment actors from Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site, which was recently designated as a historically significant site on New York State's ‘Path Through History,' will be dressed in period attire, greeting girls and their families and educating them about the War of 1812 with touch table artifacts. EVENT INFORMATION: 5:30-7:00 p.m., Caroline's Embroidered Card Craft (Free and Open to the Public) Girls can learn how to stitch a colorful fireworks pattern on a patriotic greeting card-it looks like the fireworks that light the night sky in celebration of America's independence. 5:30-7:00 p.m., American Girl Historical Character Scavenger Hunt (Free and Open to the Public) Girls will go on a scavenger hunt throughout the store, collecting fun facts about each historical character along the way.
