Lakeside Picnic Fundraiser to Highlight Elevated Meat Products with Five Opportunities to Win Extensive Packages Furnished by Palmer Food Services
CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. (May 7, 2026) – Kick off the unofficial start of summer on Sunday, May 31 at Hotel Canandaigua Tapestry Collection by Hilton with an unforgettable afternoon of smoke, sizzle and lakeside views at the first-annual Certified Angus Beef® Bash event presented by Nolan’s Catering. From 1-4 pm guests are invited to sample an array of BBQ-forward plates highlighting Certified Angus Beef® cuts furnished by Palmer Food Services, partake in five, extensive meat raffle packages to benefit The Spot, all while embracing the indie-style country sounds by local musician Claudia Hoyser.
What to Expect
- Watch chefs in action run by the culinary direction of Nolan’s Catering Executive Chef John Palmeri as they carve and serve a variety of expertly prepared Certified Angus Beef® cuts, straight from the grill.
- Enjoy a spread of summer cookout classics, smoky flavors, and chef-crafted sides that pair perfectly with all of the beef dishes planned, including a special Smokehouse station led by Executive Chef Garrette Gray of The Lake House on Canandaigua
- Listen to the indie-style country sounds of Claudia Hoyser who’s set to perform the perfect soundtrack for an afternoon of great food and good company from 1-3 pm
- Enter to win premium cuts of Certified Angus Beef® meat raffle packages, raffled periodically between Claudia’s set for attendees to have up to five attempts to win!
- The five, meat raffle packages include - (The Steakhouse Classic, The Chef’s Table Collection, The Coastal Reserve, The Entertainer’s Reserve, The Lake Front Grand Reserve Experience)
- All cooling take home bags to be furnished by Palmer Foods
Admission to this event is $20 per person (plus tax and fees) that includes access to all food stations. For attendees that would like to purchase alcoholic beverages, an on-site bar is accessible for guests 21yrs+ as drinks are a la carte. Scoop’s Ice Cream will also be offering up sweets and treats on-site for an additional charge. This event is open to all ages, and for all ticket sales and meat raffle fundraising generated, proceeds will benefit The Spot.

The Spot is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides free food, clothing, school supplies, and personal care items to students in the Canandaigua and Victor school districts.
