The day provides not-for-profit organizations an opportunity to raise awareness of the great and important services they provide, as well as network and provide support to each other. These organizations rely upon volunteers to assist in their endeavors. Representatives of these organizations will staff a table to provide information and be available to recruit new volunteers who wish to join their efforts.
All are invited to attend the Fair, visit the tables, and ask about the work these organizations are engaged in first-hand. There also will be tours of the Hasbrouck House, used by General and Mrs. Washington, during the Revolutionary War. Support from our sponsors has made admission to the Hasbrouck House and the Museum free on this day, encouraging visitors to learn just how important a role Newburgh played during the War of Independence.
Please take advantage of this opportunity to promote the work you are doing, recruit new volunteers, and network with other community organizations trying to make a difference in Newburgh.
