Nyack, N.Y. – June is PRIDE Month, and there are lots of amazing events in store to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in Nyack and Rockland County. On Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 6pm, the Nyack NAACP, the Rockland County Pride Center, and the Village of Nyack are proud to announce the Street Dedication of Bayard Rustin Way.This special Street Dedication Ceremony is open to the public and will be immediately followed by the Annual Block Party Celebrating the Black LGBTQ+ Community at Hezekiah Easter Square (Main & Cedar Streets).
Now in its 24th year, Rockland PRIDE Sunday returns, bigger and better than ever!
Join the Phyllis B. Frank Pride Center of Rockland County on June 12, 2022 from 12pm to 5pm in Downtown Nyack, where Main Street and Broadway will be closed to traffic as we take the PRIDE to the streets!
This free, family-friendly event will feature a parade that kicks off at noon followed by live music with Frankie D and The Boys, David Budway and special guest performers, Drag Queens, the Crowning of Mx. Rockland County Pride, outdoor dining, shopping, vendors, and more! Don't miss this amazing event with fun for all ages!
