Corning, N.Y. - Looking for a creative outlet for your wildest fashion dreams and a great way to get involved with the local arts community? Challenge yourself, your office, your book club, or any design crew you can gather to submit a design to Recycled Runway 2017! On Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, Behind the Seams of Recycled Runway will offer intimate and exclusive details of past designers' processes and inspirations as they've prepared for Recycled Runway, The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes' annual fundraising event!

 Behind the Seams of Recycled Runway will begin with a casual meet and greet. Get to know past designers from 5:30 - 6:15pm at The ARTS Council, 79 W Market Street, Corning. Then the expose will begin with each designer presenting a signature style from the past. From sketches to the runway walk, designers will share the artistic journeys behind Recycled Runway's most extraordinary pieces. The event will conclude with a Q&A for audience members. The ARTS Council is currently accepting design submissions for Recycled Runway 2017. The event will take place Saturday, June 3, 2017, at the Corning Museum of Glass. Click here for your submission form. Submissions are due by midnight on Friday, February 3, 2017.
