Schenectady, N.Y. - In April, at its annual season Bash, Proctors revealed its exciting Key Private Bank Broadway Series, including Newsies (Oct. 11-17), Jersey Boys (Jan. 13-18), The IllusionistsTM Witness The ImpossibleTM (Feb. 17-22), Annie (March 3-8), Pippin (May 26-31) and Kinky Boots (June 16-21).
Now, with its Newsies-inspired season brochure, the landmark Schenectady vaudeville hall trumpets the rest of its thrilling offerings for 2014-2015-over 50 new events, from single performances to week-long runs, sweeping from the amazing acrobats, break dancers and contortionists of Cirque Eloize iD (Aug. 1-3, 8-10) to a Christmas visit from Elf: The Broadway Musical (Dec. 23-28); and from evenings with Cesar Millan (Nov. 15) and Jack Hanna's Into The Wild Live (Jan. 30) to the high-octane Blue Man Group (March 10-11).
"2014-2015," says Proctors CEO Philip Morris, in his brochure-opening letter, "is aimed to please, with the variety and range you expect of us and the newest and best of the world in our community!"
Additional Broadway favorites include Nice Work If You Can Get It (Jan. 29), Peter and the Starcatcher (March 21), Jeckyll & Hyde (March 28), Disney's Beauty and the Beast (April 16-19), Memphis (April 30) and Mamma Mia! (May 15-16).
Music always has a place at Proctors, with Johnny Mathis (Oct. 24), the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra (Nov. 13), The California Transit Authority (Jan. 31), The Australian Bee Gees (Feb. 7) and the Fourth Annual Gospel Jubilee (April 10) among many highlights.
Dance (Dancing Pros LIVE, Nov. 22; The Nutcracker, Dec 6-7; Shaping Sound, Feb. 12), comedy (Irish Comedy Tour, March 7; I Love Lucy Live On Stage!, May 9-10), family fun (Wild Kratts-Live, Feb. 27; Rapunzel, May 8) and special events (Proctors Season Opening Un-Gala, Oct. 9; Lunch with Santa, Dec. 7) round out a busy and impressive 2014-2015 slate, which is included below in its entirety.
